Esther came to me and told me that "since I was painting all of the rooms in the house that I NEEDEDDDD to paint a bunny and flowers in her bedroom"! I mean, how can I argue with that?!?! So after a few sketches, I came up with a colorful floral mural with a deep Olive background (that I am just IN LOVE with) and then, of course, a pink bunny with glasses on the floor so that she can say good night every night to her bunny (which she happily named flower)! :) ... continue reading...
A beachy wave bedroom mural!
My sister + bro in law love the beach, like LOVE LOVE LAHHHOOOOOVEEEEE the beach; the sand, the waves, the vibes, ALL of it! So when they asked me to add some pizzaz to their beachy bedroom, I jumped to the opportunity! They have the kind of home that has the tall ceilings, adorable woodwork and ... continue reading...
A colorful rainbow under the stairs secret clubhouse mural! :)
We've had a space under our stairs that has previously been filled with boxes and papers and random stuff (that truthfully never REALLLLLLY needed to be stored and kept.....ya know, the boxes that get moved from house to house to house without anyone ever opening them)! So when our basement flooded this past summer, it gave us an excuse to pitch + toss out these soggy boxes full of things that we didn't need any longer. Zeke INSTANTLY asked if we could turn this space into an indoor clubhouse ... continue reading...
Our curvy bathroom mural + using all the paint during social isolation!
Welp! It seems like the only thing these days that keeps my head on straight, is creativity. I've been crafting A TONNNN, but I also decided to break open some paints and tackle a few household painting projects that have been on my brain; after all I have quite a bit of hours on my hands (don't we all?!?) :) I have been eyeing up our downstairs bathroom for some time. It's a big space that has never been painted since we moved in (ahem....7 years ago)....so this seemed like the obvious ... continue reading...
